About Me
I help people leaders lead more human, more self-aware, more steady, and more grounded in what actually matters to them.
I'm a husband, a father, and a leader with over two decades in higher education. My career has been rooted in higher education, student affairs, campus recreation, and wellness. Places where I've spent my time helping students and staff find clarity in their purpose, confidence in their leadership, and the courage to grow.
My story
My story begins when my parents immigrated from the Philippines to Long Island in search of a better life. They were not chasing a dream; they were building one. Their work ethic, humility, and quiet resilience shaped how I see the world and how I choose to lead in it.
Today, I bring that same posture into my coaching practice. I meet people where they are with honesty, care, and a commitment to their growth. No fluff. No hype. Just real conversations that help you move forward.
Why coaching
Here's the truth: I was once skeptical of coaching. It seemed too soft, too vague, too focused on feelings without action. But over time, I realized that the most impactful leaders are the ones willing to do the inner work. Coaching helped me become more grounded, more intentional, and more connected to who I am and how I lead.
Now I help others do the same. If you're skeptical, I get it. I have been there. And that's exactly why this work matters.
How I work
I draw on four frameworks that, together, balance self-awareness with action:
Co-Active Coaching (CPCC) — The methodology that shapes how I show up in every session: client-led, action-oriented, and rooted in the belief that you are naturally creative, resourceful, and whole.
CliftonStrengths — A Gallup-certified lens for identifying what you do best, so you can lead from your strengths instead of grinding against your gaps.
The Integrative iEQ9 Enneagram — A depth tool for understanding the patterns that drive your leadership, including the ones that quietly get in your way.
ICF Standards — As an Associate Certified Coach (ACC) through the International Coaching Federation, I'm held to a clear ethical and professional standard. Your trust is non-negotiable.
